From Combat Boots to Skincare: Meet the Owner of Dee’s Gifted Hands Spa Boutique

Devette Ross, RN, hails from Oakland, California, and later moved to Fairfield, where she graduated from Fairfield High School in 1995. She served approximately 10 years in the United States Air Force during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, having five children during her service before receiving an honorable discharge in 2005. After military service, she pursued an LPN certificate from Western Career College while working full-time at Carl T. Hayden VA Hospital. Devette then obtained her associate’s degree in nursing from Carrington College and became a registered nurse in 2011.

Driven by a passion for aesthetics, Devette trained at the Skin & Makeup Institute and National Laser Institute, ultimately becoming an aesthetician, laser technician, and cosmetic injector in 2014. She is now the proud owner of Dee’s Gifted Hands Spa Boutique in Youngtown, Arizona, where she has been in business for nearly nine years. With over 17 years of nursing experience and 10 years in aesthetics, Devette remains dedicated to helping clients improve their skin, relax, and feel confident.
