Devette Ross

Devette Ross, RN, hails from Oakland, California, and later moved to Fairfield, where she graduated from Fairfield High School in 1995. She served approximately 10 years in the United States Air Force during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, having five children during her service before receiving an honorable discharge in 2005. After military service, she pursued an LPN certificate from Western Career College while working full-time at Carl T. Hayden VA Hospital. Devette then obtained her associate’s degree in nursing from Carrington College and became a registered nurse in 2011.

Driven by a passion for aesthetics, Devette trained at the Skin & Makeup Institute and National Laser Institute, ultimately becoming an aesthetician, laser technician, and cosmetic injector in 2014. She is now the proud owner of Dee’s Gifted Hands Spa Boutique in Youngtown, Arizona, where she has been in business for nearly nine years. With over 17 years of nursing experience and 10 years in aesthetics, Devette remains dedicated to helping clients improve their skin, relax, and feel confident.

Meet Alyssa: Your Ray of Sunshine at the Spa!

Hello, beautiful souls! I'm Alyssa, and I'm so thrilled to be a part of your journey to relaxation and radiance here at the spa. Born and raised right here in sunny Arizona, I'm a local girl through and through! My path has been a little unconventional, but it's led me right to where I'm meant to be. I graduated from RSK High School and West-Mec's Veterinarian Science program in 2021, even passing my state NAVTA exam. While my heart has always beaten for animals (and yes, I absolutely love hearing all about your furry friends!), I'm currently on an exciting new adventure that will eventually help me fund my dream of opening my own grooming business.

My journey to the spa began thanks to my mom, who's a regular client here (and seriously, her skin looks amazing!). Through her, I had the pleasure of meeting our incredible boss, Dee. Knowing my passion for caring for living beings, Dee encouraged me to explore the world of esthetics. I'm currently halfway through my studies at the Skin & Makeup Institute – the very same school Dee attended! I'm truly loving every moment and catching on so quickly, thanks in no small part to Dee's kindness in letting me intern here and accept tips while I learn. It's such a gift to be able to grow and contribute to this amazing team.

Bringing joy and well-being to people through spa treatments brings me a happiness almost as profound as working with animals. I truly believe in the power of touch and care to uplift spirits and enhance natural beauty. My goal is for you to leave feeling not just refreshed and rejuvenated, but also lighter, brighter, and completely cared for. So come on in, let's chat, relax, and let your inner glow shine!
